По результатам его исследования (1910) состояния преподавания в медицинских колледжей [medical school, professional school] была проведена полная реорганизация медицинского образования. Основатель и первый директор (1930-39) Института перспективных исследований [Institute for Advanced Study] Принстонского университета [Princeton University]
